Description

Some names carry a little more meaning.

Crafted from soft washed cotton with a timeless, lived-in feel, The Palomino Cap is designed for wherever the road leads. From mountain mornings and dusty tracks to weekends away, itโ€™s made to become the cap you reach for every time you head outdoors.

Finished with our signature embroidered Brumby on the front and โ€œHitting the Roadโ€ stitched across the back, itโ€™s a simple piece inspired by the landscapes, horses and heritage that sit at the heart of Brumby.

Named after the rare golden-coated palomino brumbies of Australiaโ€™s alpine country, Palomino felt like the perfect name for this cap. A quiet nod to some of the most striking and admired wild horses of the High Country, it celebrates the beauty, resilience and freedom they represent.

Care Instructions

Looking After Your Palomino Cap

The Palomino Cap is made from soft pre-washed cotton and designed to be worn often. From mountain mornings to weekends away, a little care will keep it looking its best for years to come.

Care Instructions

  • Spot clean where possible. For everyday dust and marks, a damp cloth is often all you need.
  • Hand wash in cold water. If your cap needs a deeper clean, gently hand wash it using cold water and a mild detergent or gentle soap. Avoid excessive rubbing, especially around the embroidery.
  • Always air dry. Reshape your cap while it's damp and leave it to dry naturally in the shade. Never tumble dry, as heat may cause the cotton to shrink and affect the cap's shape.
  • Store it out of direct sunlight. Leaving your cap on the dashboard of your car or in prolonged direct sunlight may cause the colour to fade and the cotton to shrink over time.
  • Rinse after salt water exposure. If your adventures take you to the coast, rinse your cap with fresh water afterwards. Salt left on the cap can cause the metal buckle and hardware to corrode over time.

Like your favourite pair of boots, your Palomino Cap will develop character with age. A little wear tells the story of the places you've been and the adventures still to come.
